Sanad and Matan

Sanad or isnad in language that is back, the intention is that continued up the road to honor, narrator-narrator who narrated the hadith and present honor. Sanad narrator starts from the beginning (before recording the hadith) and ends on the person before the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam the Companions.For example al-Bukhari narrates a hadith, then al-Bukhari said mukharrij or mudawwin (which issued a hadith or a recorded hadith), the narrator before the beginning of al-Bukhari said sanad while Sahabahs who narrated the hadith it is said to end sanad.

Matan is the language that is strong, sturdy, tough, mean is the content, speech or lafazh-lafazh hadith which is located after the end of the narrator of the sanad.

The hadith scholars would not accept the hadith that comes to them but if you have a sanad, they do so since the spread of falsehood in the name of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam which was pioneered by the Shiite people.

A Tabi named Muhammad bin Sirin (d. 110 H) rahimahullah said, "They (ie the hadith scholars) was not asked about the chain of transmission, but when there slander, they said, 'Say to us the name of narrator-rawimu, when seen that convey Ahlus Sunnah, the Hadith accepted, but if that deliver Ahl-ul-bid'ah, then the hadith is rejected. '"[1]

Then, since the scholars researching any sanad up to them and if the terms and hasan hadeeth are met, then they accept the hadith as evidence, and if the conditions are not met, then they reject it.

Abdullah bin al-Mubarak (d. th. 181 H) rahimahullah said: "Sanad is included from religion, if if there is no sanad, then people will say what he wants at will" [2]

The hadith scholars have established the rules and points of discussion for each sanad and towns, whether the hadith is acceptable or not. The science which deals with this problem was the science of Hadith its terms.


Sunnah DISTRIBUTION ACCORDING TO OUR arrival

As-Sunnah, which comes from the Messenger of Allaah 'alaihi wa sallam told us in terms of arrival is divided into two, namely mutawatir and Munday. Mutawatir Hadith is news of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam delivered simultaneously by the people trust in a way that was impossible they could agree to lie.

Mutawatir hadith has four requirements are:

[1]. Rawi-rawinya tsiqat and understanding of what rumored and (deliver) a definite sentence.
[2]. Delivery back to something concrete, such as witnessing or hearing directly, such as:

"Sami'tu" = I heard
"Sami'na" = we hear
"Roaitu" = I see
"Roainaa" = we see

[3]. Numbers (number of) them a lot, it is impossible according to their custom lie.
[4]. Numbers that many of these remained so from the initial start sanad, mid-to late sanad, narrator who narrated at least 10 people. [3]

Ahad hadith is the hadith that degree is not up to the degree mutawatir. The hadiths ahad divided into three kinds.

[A]. Famous hadith, the hadith narrated by 3 sanad.
[B]. Hadith 'aziz, which is the hadeeth narrated by 2 sanad.
[C]. Ghareeb Hadith, which is the hadeeth narrated by a sanad. [4]
